Serving the State of Texas, the Texas Society for Public Health Education (TSOPHE) is a regional affiliate of the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE), a national professional service organization formed in 1973 to promote the health of all people by

  • stimulating research,
  • developing professional performance standards,
  • advocating health education legislation, and
  • promoting networking among health education professionals.

The TSOPHE Mission is to advocate for the profession and provide stewardship for the discipline of public health education.



TSOPHE is currently seeking webinar proposals for 2020!

TSOPHE invites webinar proposal submissions for webinar presentations on various public health education topics relating to health disparities, health equity, maternal & child health, public health advocacy, and professional development for health educators in Texas. Webinar proposals can include original research, program implementation and evaluations, community assessments, health education methods, theories, and issues.
